Mike and Dan resume their normal format (mostly) to talk about the return of Zdeno Chara to the Islanders and their upcoming training camp.

They celebrate the signing of the first ballot Hall of Famer and the continuation of Lou Lamoriello’s Summer of Righting Wrongs, while examining the well-founded concerns about Chara’s effectiveness on the ice in this late stage of his career.

Later, they look at training camp kicking off this week, some of the less-familiar faces that will be around, and how the players and coaches will have to handle the increased pressure of an Islanders team with real championship aspirations. Think about that for a minute...
