The New York Islanders are in Boston for Game 2. If they don’t pull it off, we’ll have an extra day to wallow on the edge of despair. If they do earn the split, we’ll get two days to act like that was The Plan all along.
The Bruins will have one lineup change, replacing the injured Craig Smith.
The Islanders will have none (Oliver Wahlstrom still isn’t ready), unless they have a change in goal, which is quite possible.
The official start time is 7:30 p.m. EDT, but you know how that goes by now. TV broadcast on NBC Sports in the U.S.
