The Islanders and Rangers complete their latest home-and-home in what should, for real this time, be their final ever meeting at Nassau Coliseum.
The regulation win by the Isles at the Garden Thursday was a near-fatal blow for tonight’s visitors, and a repeat performance would clinch a playoff spot for the Isles.
As with the other night, the Rangers will be without Chris Kreider. They’re also missing others:
Chris Kreider (lower body), Jacob Trouba (upper body) and Ryan Lindgren (upper body) are all out for the Rangers tonight. Morgan Barron will make his NHL debut. Tarmo Reunanen will play. Julien Gauthier will play for the first time since April 3.

Barry Trotz, pleased with Thursday’s 4-0 win, said no lineup changes were planned during the morning media availability.
But this time the Isles will face Alexandar Georgiev, who’s oddly had such success against the Isles, instead of their titular #1 Igor Shesterkin, who has found that success delightfully elusive.
