(Apologies if you tried to download this episode on Thursday afternoon. A small scheduling snafu caused a delay. Should be all good now. - Dan)
Mike and Dan lament two disastrous loses in Pittsburgh and the difficult looming schedule for the Islanders.
They look at how recent lineup decisions (like First Liner Leo Komarov!) have been forced by injuries and the ways they’ve affect the team’s overall play as the Islanders face a mini crossroads in their season. Later, they try to focus on the success the Islanders have had this season and how all is not lost despite their recent struggles.
Finally, Mike talks about his excellent adventure with ace journalist Elliotte Friedman, who picked his brain for his latest 31 Thoughts column. They also discuss sleepy rookie broadcasters, annoying glass ads and wanting to be as dreamy as Patrick Sharp.
Don’t forget to leave us a review on iTunes and include your Twitter handle for a shot at winning some for yourself next month.

- Mike’s critically-acclaimed appearance in Elliotte Friedman’s 31 Thoughts column. Very illuminating stuff about gambling, refs, the NHL and tuning out the noise.
