Pretty big couple of games here.

The Islanders are in Pittsburgh for two games to wrap up the season set with the Penguins.

One known change is that Michael Dal Colle will be out and miss both games with the ol’ “lower body” injury.

Noah Dobson has been off of Covid Protocol but did not make the trip, so expect Thomas Hickey to continue filling in his stead.

Here’s Barry Trotz on the topics of the day:

As Steve noted in the morning bits, the Penguins are without Evgeni Malkin, Jason Zucker, Kasperi Kapanen, Brandon Tanev, and Teddy Blueger — but injuries haven’t slowed them down much this season.

The Penguins are just four points behind the Isles (48), who are tied with Washington for the division lead.

This set, obviously, is a big one.
