HOW TO PLAY

Make a new comment in the FIG post for that night’s game. Put down your three guesses – best guess, second-best guess, third-best guess – in a single line up top, separated by spaces, commas, slashes, or what have you. If you want to say anything else, put it in a separate paragraph below.

USE THE FULL LAST NAMES ONLY. No nicknames, no first names--use only the players' last names.(e.g. Hogue, Vukota, Makela ) and make sure you spell them correctly. My cutting-edge winner-recognition system is basically me performing a search for the last name when I tally the points, so if you write Matty Marts or Bovillyay I'll miss it. Use the full and correct last name and you’ll get the points if that player scores first. Anything and everything else is ignored.

Scoring: If your best guess is correct, you get 10 points. 5 points for second-best guess being correct, 2 points for third-best guess. Contrary to urban legend, goals by Uncle Leo do not count triple.

- You CAN choose "shutout" as a guess. If the Isles get shut out, then that guess will earn the same number of points as detailed above (so if you choose "shutout" as third-best guess, you get two points).

- Get your picks in by the stated game time, or else they won’t count.

- The one with the most total points at the end of the regular season wins.
