Islanders Anxiety - Episode 140 - Is It Too Early To Worry?

Mike and Dan discuss the good and bad of the Islanders’ split with the Devils, their upcoming games and the demise of NBCSN.

They look at what worked in a 4-1 win, what didn’t work in a 2-0 loss and the dangers of having too many non-scoring threats in the same lineup. They also talk about games against the Capitals and Flyers, good teams that could give up valuable points or who could threaten to dig the Islanders into an early season hole.

Finally, they discuss the news that NHL broadcast partner NBCSN will be shutting down at the end of the year, and all of the many ways in which the channel failed to promote the sport over the last two decades or so.
