The NHL released the full schedule for its two conference finals series, and this time we get to make definitive plans rather than have a bunch of “TBD” and “could be noon, could be 3:00, could be 8:00” games.
Here are the game days, dates and times (all Eastern Daylight Time), with North American TV coverage for the New York Islanders and Tampa Bay Lightning in the Eastern Conference Final. It’s a nice, every-other-day schedule, with only one matinee, on Sunday for Game 4.
U.S. fans will want to note that Friday’s Game 3 is on USA Network:
- Monday, Sept. 7, 8 p.m.: Islanders vs. Lightning | NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS
- Wednesday, Sept. 9, 8 p.m.: Islanders vs. Lightning | NBCSN, CBC, TVAS
- Friday, Sept. 11, 8 p.m.: Lightning vs. Islanders | USA, CBC, SN TVAS
- Sunday, Sept. 13, 3 p.m.: Lightning vs. Islanders | NBC, CBC, SN, TVAS
- *Tuesday, Sept. 15, 8 p.m.: Islanders vs. Lightning | NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS
- *Thursday, Sept. 17, 8 p.m.: Lightning vs. Islanders | NBCSN, CBC, SN, TVAS
- *Saturday, Sept. 19, 7:30 p.m.: Islanders vs. Lightning | NBC, CBC, SN, TVAS
For this series the Islanders and Lightning have left the Toronto “bubble” (thanks for all the playoff wins, Toronto!) and headed to the Western bubble in Edmonton, where the rest of the playoffs will take place.
