Folks, this is it. The biggest game for the Islanders in 27 years. Game 7. Not much more that needs to be said about it.
I gotta tell you, the nerves are running wild. But I’m excited nonetheless and I’m ready. I know you are, too.
The Islanders are going with Thomas Greiss in net tonight.
Greiss for NYI

Greiss came on in relief of Semyon Varlamov in Game 2 and the only goal he allowed was the overtime winner. He also started the second half of a back-to-back in Game 4 this past Sunday and made 36 saves in an Islanders win. I like the choice.
Barry Trotz hinted at lineup changes for Game 7 and, based on warmups, they’re certainly possible.
21 skaters on for #Isles warmups, includes Dal Colle, Johnston and Boychuk, all of whom warmed up prior to G6.

I’m curious to see who makes the final lineup. Johnny Boychuk is best when he’s fresh, and I do expect to see him. Not sure for who, though.
For the Flyers, top center Sean Couturier is on for warmups, as well. We’ll see if he plays.
