Mike & Dan talk about the Islanders eliminating the Florida Panthers and their next challenge, the Washington Capitals.

They discuss what the Islanders will need to do to be successful against the Caps, what influence Barry Trotz might have in coaching against his old club and what type of excrement Washington’s Tom Wilson and Garnett Hathaway are most similar to.

Later, they about some of the other teams that were bounced from the playoffs like the Oilers and Penguins, and why concerns over their star players missing the rest of the postseason is misguided. Finally, they celebrate J-G Pageau’s victory in the Islanders’ ping pong tournament and what they’re not looking forward to at Monday’s draft lottery.
