New York Islanders “@” Florida Panthers [Qualifier Game 4 Thread]

After failing to sweep Florida on Wednesday, the Isles look to finish them off in four today.

The Islanders will look to close out the Panthers this afternoon in Game 4, becoming the second team in the East to come out of the Qualifying Round.

The Panthers, meanwhile, hope to force a deciding Game 5 on Sunday.

Coach Barry Trotz indicated he may make some changes to today’s lineup after dressing essentially the same lineup from Game 1, aside from Andy Greene replacing the injured Johnny Boychuk.

Florida coach Joel Quenneville made a few changes to his lineup to spark his team in Game 3. Curious to see which way he goes today.

In goal, I would imagine both teams will go with their starter Russians, Semyon Varlamov for the Isles and Sergei Bobrovsky for the Cats.

Last chance for FIGs!
