The Islanders hope to sweep tonight with a win over the Capitals. It would eliminate Washington and make the Isles the first team to advance to the Conference Semifinals in the NHL. Not bad for a 6-seed.

The Islanders, as you might imagine, aren’t making any lineup changes. It will be Semyon Varlamov in net and Andy Greene in as the sixth defenseman, with Johnny Boychuk in the press box.

Caps coach Todd Reirden made quite a few changes to his lineup for Game 3; only one change will be made tonight, as he put Jonas Siegenthaler back in on defense for Michael Fehervary.

Let’s ride the brooms.
