The Islanders have a “schedule win” as they wait at home for the road-busy and struggling Los Angeles Kings, who are 1-6-1 over their last eight and sitting in the basement as the Detroit Of The West.

The Kings just traded goalie Jack Crawford and Kyle Clifford, and they’re the subject of more trade rumors (Tyler Toffoli anyone?) as they try to manage their mid-Doughty-career rebuild.
Thomas Greiss is in net for the Islanders, who otherwise keep the same lineup including rookie Kieffer Bellows.
