Mike & Dan look ahead to the Islanders season with an eye towards some players with the potential to make a big impact.
Incoming Ilya Sorokin and young Noah Dobson will get a chance to establish themselves as NHLers, and Mathew Barzal (once he is re-signed) could also find another gear to his game. All of that makes the guys optimistic heading into the shortened, division-heavy schedule.
Later, they talk about some free agents the Islanders missed out on and why you should be watching darts (when you’re not watching hockey).
