[Record scratch] Dan here. This just in, perhaps qualifying as “news:” Corey Pronman’s NHL prospect pool rankings continue at The Athletic and he has the Islanders slotted at 16th. Their divisive collection of talented but still evolving players and an underwhelming 2019 draft contributed to their drop from fifth in his books last season. Surely this evaluation will be met with level-headed reactions from all corners of Islanders fandom.
