The New York Islanders announced the rest of their 2019-20 regular season schedule, with the anticipated split of 20 home games at Barclays Center and 21 home games at Nassau Coliseum.

As previously announced, the Coliseum gets the home opener, against the Washington Capitals. The rest of the schedule gets a frequent mix between both venues, in contrast to last season, where most of the Coliseum games were stacked in the second half as the team awaited for upgrades at its original home to be completed.

At the time of the posting, the official website’s schedule calendar was...still populating.

But rest assured, there will be 82 games.

They’ll have six home games among the first seven on the October schedule, welcoming the Capitals (Nassau), Jets (Brooklyn), Oilers (Brooklyn, Panthers (Coliseum) and Blues (Coliseum).

The Stanley Cup champion Blues visit for the annual Monday holiday matinee on Oct. 14. The Islanders visit the Carolina Hurricanes, who swept them out of the second round of the playoffs, on Friday, Oct. 11.

All December home games are at the Coliseum, as are the final four home games of the season, March 26-April 4.
