Fresh off of a disappointing loss to the Detroit Red Wings, the Islanders hit the road again to take on the Minnesota Wild. The Wild are on the outside looking in at the moment and are scratching and clawing at a wild card spot. They should prove to be a tougher out than Detroit which after yesterday isn't all that grand.
Robin Lehner is expected to start for the first time since being bowled over by Brady Tkachuk. Thomas Greiss was stellar in his starts in while Lehner was out and Lehner has some catching up to do. Minnesota isn't an offensive juggernaut, but they do get the majority of their chances in high danger areas - that's generally bad recipe for a goalie.
UPDATE: Greiss is starting.
No lineup changes are expected tonight. Tom Kuhnhackl will play on the third while Leo Komarov displaces the injured Casey Cizikas. Johnny Boychuk is still out as well.
Game time is 6:00 P.M. E.S.T.
