The New York Islanders are set for a rematch from last week as they take on the Calgary Flames for the second and final time this year. The Flames bested the Islanders in what Barry Trotz called one of the Islanders' worst games of the year. They'll need to be better to take this one from Calgary.
Robin Lehner will get his third consecutive start tonight. The Islanders had been rotating him and Thomas Greiss, but that appears to be over. Greiss has had the better numbers and leads the NHL in GSAA, so it's a bit peculiar.
Andrew Ladd and Thomas Hickey are both back in action tonight. Thomas Kuhnhackl and Scott Mayfield are both out. Kuhnhackl definitely deserves the benching as he had been wretched in his last stretch while Mayfield has been one of the Islanders better defenders.
Game time is at 7:00 P.M. E.S.T.
