Today at the Coliseum, the Islanders will host the Anaheim Ducks to finish off the season series. New York is coming off a big shootout win over the Bruins on national TV on Thursday night, while the Ducks are coming off a loss against the Devils on Wednesday night.
It will be a third jersey day, so plan accordingly, I guess.

Cal Clutterbuck took a skate to the wrist on Thursday night in Boston, and Lou Lamoriello announced today that Clutterbuck had successful surgery to repair a tendon in his wrist. But, he’ll be out indefinitely, so they recalled Andrew Ladd, who is 7-2-9 in 19 games down in Bridgeport.

LL: It was a successful surgery, he will be back this season. Andrew Ladd recalled.

More on Clutterbuck: Tendon repair, but nothing life threatening.

With Ladd in the mix and a little bit of an illness running through the locker room, Barry Trotz isn’t sure who is going to dress for the game, but it sounds like everyone available will take warm-ups.

Interesting tidbit: it’s Mathew Barzal’s 200th NHL game. Time flies.
He also didn’t announce who was going to be in net, but it wouldn’t shock Andrew Gross to see the goalie rotation break for the first time this season.
Would not be shocked at all if Semyon Varlamov gets the back-to-back start on Saturday after vs. Ducks at Coliseum. Neither he nor Thomas Greiss have started back to back games yet this season.

We'll see on Saturday, Barry Trotz said no practice for #Isles on Friday.
Meanwhile, Anaheim might be without Ryan Getzlaf, and I’d expect to see John Gibson in goal.
