New York Islanders @ Buffalo Sabres [Game 13 Thread]

Both teams played last night, so it should be a slog.

The Islanders and Sabres face off tonight in Buffalo for the first time this season. Exactly like the Lightning last night, the Sabres will play the Islanders in their last North American game before heading off to Sweden to play each other. Makes sense that it’s Tampa Bay and Buffalo, since they have a couple of Swedish stars between them.

Both the Sabres and Islanders come in to tonight’s game having played the night before. The Sabres gave up four first-period goals en route to a 6-1 beat down at the hands of the Capitals, while the Islanders held strong against the Lightning to extend their winning streak to eight games.

No updates on lineups for either team tonight, though we can expect Semyon Varlamov in between the pipes for the Islanders.
