Islanders Reading

  • Prospect Report: A little bit of Wahlstrom, a bit of Wilde, and a sprinkling of Golyshev. [Isles]
  • The trade deadline is a month away. Arthur Staple goes through the range of potential Islanders targets, from dream to practical. [Athletic]

  • Meanwhile, the Stars and Penguins undid last year’s Jamie Oleksiak trade. Literally. [Defending Big D]
  • Officially now: Artemi Panarin won’t negotiate a new contract with the Blue Jackets during the season. [NHL]
  • Tuukka Rask is on IR due to concussion. [Stanley Cup of Chowder]
  • Wayne Simmonds and the Flyers will decide their future together (or apart) in the coming weeks. [NHL]
