The New York Islanders take to Nassau Coliseum one final time before the week long break for the All-Star Game. The Islanders can keep control of first place with a victory here tonight and they’re facing an Anaheim Ducks team that lost 13 straight before finally winning their last two games. Despite that winless spell, they can still get back into a wildcard spot with a victory here tonight.

Thomas Greiss is expected to start today, but nothing is confirmed. Greiss shutout the reigning Stanley Cup Champions in the Islanders last contest and still leads Robin Lehner in dSV% in five-on-five and overall situations and has a higher GSAA than his counterpart, but they’re numbers two and three in that category of qualified netminders. Lehner still leads Greiss in overall save percentage. The two have been astounding this season.

No changes to the lineup have been confirmed. Tom Kuhnhackl is still listed as questionable with an illness, but with the long break coming up there’s no reason to play him anyway. Ross Johnston and Luca Sbisa are likely healthy scratches.

Game time is at 3:00 P.M. E.S.T.
