New York Islanders at Dallas Stars (Game 35)

NHL: New York Islanders at Dallas Stars Jerome Miron-USA TODAY Sports

The New York Islanders take to Texas as they try to make it back over true .500 against the Dallas Stars. The Islanders are also carrying a goal differential of +1, so a loss in anything anything other than a shootout would mean the end of their positive goal differential. Game time starts at 8:00 P.M. E.S.T.

Devon Toews will make his much anticipated NHL debut tonight spelling Johnny Boychuk. For his efforts, he'll get to play on the right side of Luca Sbisa. Sbisa is not an ideal partner for anyone to play with, much less a rookie defenseman making his NHL debut. It should be nothing if not interesting.

Robin Lehner is back in net again. Thomas Greiss couldn't be blamed for the loss against the Vegas Golden Knights, but he's has seen a lot of action and faced 46 shots on Thursday - extra rest heading into the holiday break won't hurt. Lehner has been above average this season in his own right, but Dallas is scary at home.
