The Islanders are back on the ice tonight as they take on the Arizona Coyotes in Glendale, AZ. They did well to suck all the life out of the high-flying Avalanche last night in, as Dom said, a very “Trotzian” road game. They’d be wise to play the same way tonight.

Brock Nelson, who left last night’s game after he was kneed by Colorado defenseman Ian Cole, will play tonight despite having not skated this morning. Thomas Hickey, who left last night’s game after an awkward collision with the boards and twisting of his knee, will not play tonight.

Your goalies are Robin Lehner, taking the second half of the back-to-back, and Darcy Kuemper, one of the many goalies Arizona is relying on in Antti Raanta’s absence. Raanta suffered an injury that, upon further investigation, was found to be much worse than originally thought.
