The New York Islanders lost last night against the lowly Florida Panthers and now find themselves last in the Metropolitan in points percentage. They'll have a chance to leapfrog the Carolina Hurricanes tonight and move back into seventh, but only if they can defeat the Toronto Maple Leafs tonight. This one won't come easy - the Islanders are on their second night of a back-to-back while the Maple Leafs haven't played since before the All-Star break.

Two Islanders veterans will return to the lineup tonight. Andrew Ladd is back in after coming off of I.R. and will be on a line with Tanner Fritz and Jason Chimera while Alan Quine rides the pine. Dennis Seidenberg is returning as well - he wasn't injured, he's just not very good at hockey. He'll replace Sebastian Aho.

Thomas Greiss is in net tonight seeing as it's the second of a back-to-back. He'll square off against Frederick Anderson. Puck drop will be at 7:35 P.M. E.S.T. on MSG+ as this game is being nationally televised in both English and French in Canada - those outside the New York metropolitan area can watch those on Sportsnet or TVAS on NHL.TV.
