New York Islanders at Chicago Blackhawks [Game 48]

Dennis Wierzbicki-USA TODAY Sports

The floundering New York Islanders take to the road to take on the similarly struggling Chicago Blackhawks. Both teams are struggling to stay out of last in their respective divisions. The Blackhawks are certainly the better team on paper, but they're without perennial all-star goalie Corey Crawford.

Casey Cizikas is now on injured reserve. The team called up gritty forward Ross Johnston to replace him on the roster. He's in for the injured Shane Prince while Alan Quine replaced Michael Dal Colle. They'll be on the same line with Brock Nelson tonight.

Jaroslav Halak will man the net for the Islanders in tonight's game. Anton Forsberg gets the start for Chicago with Crawford out. They'll be backed up by Thomas Greiss and Jeff Glass, respectively.

Tonight's game will air on MSG+. Congratulations to everyone who gets their high definition feeds back without having to turn to a streaming service. Puck drop will be at 8:35 P.M. E.S.T.
