Who thought of this -- let long time Rag Ron Duguay introduce a song that mentions pride in being an Islander.

At the Tony Awards Sunday night, long time Rag Ron Duguay, a proud Canadien, introduced the company of Come From Away, a musical about the remarkable reception received by 7000 airline travelers forced to land in Gander, Newfoundland, (pop. 9000) on 9/11. They performed the opening number – Welcome to the Rock, a celebration of the spirit of being "an Islander." When I heard the refrain "I'm an Islander," I nearly threw my shoe through the TV. Where the hell were any of the Canadien born Isles? Stupid is as stupid does.
