Also, Quine and Prince have significant homecomings.

The New York Islanders’ Resurrection 2017 tour continues this afternoon in Ottawa, where the Senators welcome back Craig Anderson in net after he took time off for his wife’s cancer treatments.

Also returning, though slightly less dramatic, is Islanders winger Shane Prince to Ottawa for the first time since they traded him to the Isles last season.

And Alan Quine, a late-season call up last year who immediately became a playoff regular, will play his first NHL game in his home town. Quine, a redraft after Detroit let his draft rights lapse, is an interesting story. And he’s a local boy young enough to only know a world where the Senators are part of the NHL.

The Islanders, on a 7-1-2 run under interim head coach Doug Weight and 8-1-2 when you add Jack Capuano’s final game, will keep their same lineup.

That means Thomas Greiss in goal, Travis Hamonic and Cal Clutterbuck still on the keyed injury list.
