The Isles went 1-1-1 this week, and it cost them both a spot in the top 10 in the NHL and the top spot in the Metro in the LHH Power Rankings.
TSN decided the NFL was more important than the NHL this week, and didn't put up a new NHL power ranking list. Our other 3 sources did, though.

Looking at the rankings, the Devils (3-0-0) jumped back into the top 10 and on top of the Metro. The Isles benefited from Washington's loss in Vegas last night, which kept them in 2nd in the Metro. Had things broken the wrong way yesterday, the Isles could have fallen as far as 16th in the NHL and 6th in the Metro. As it stands, 2nd through 7th in the Metro are 60% of the middle 10.
Edmonton is charging up the rankings, picking up nearly 7 points and 10 places, and now holding down the WC2 spot in the LHH rankings. Vegas also makes a climb back to the top 10, up 4 spots. Minnesota drops like a rock, 7 spots to 22nd. Vancouver falls even harder, 10 spots from 13th to 23rd.
