Los Angeles Kings at New York Islanders

The Islanders turn to Steve Bernier as they look to avoid their first three game skid of the year.

The New York Islanders square off against the Los Angeles Kings as they hope to avoid a their first three game losing streak of the season. They've allowed five goals in their last two games. That's hardly a recipe for success.

Fortunately the Kings come in after allowing five goals themselves last game. The New Jersey Devils downed them five to two. It could be a battle of defensive futility tonight in Brooklyn.

Joshua Ho-Sang was lent to the Bridgeport Sound Tigers. The freshly called up Steve Bernier will take his place as Anthony Beauvillier is tasked with dragging around the corpses of him and Jason Cholera (not Cholera - thank you auto-correct). Good luck Tito!

Thomas Greiss returns between the pipes tonight looking for a better performance. He'll be up against Darcy Keumper for the Kings. Jonathan Quick has been stellar, but played last night.

Puck drop is at 7:05 P.M. E.S.T. It can be found on MSG+.
