The Enemies' Lair

The New York Islanders are set to face the Ottawa Senators for the second time in a week, this time at Barclays Center where the Islanders have been unbeatable. The Islanders played an astounding game the last time the two played, but Craig Anderson put in a lot of work to keep the score tight. The Islanders ultimately came away with a two to one victory.

The forwards for tonight's game will remain the same. Casey Cizikas is still out with an injury. On defense, Ryan Pulock draws back in for Scott Mayfield while Dennis Seidenberg continues to get playing time for some reason as Thomas Hickey exits. Rumors have speculated recently that the Islanders may make a play for a big name defenseman, but the best way they can improve the team along the blue line is to stop giving Seidenberg ice time particularly when they have eight defensemen.

Thomas Greiss will man the crease tonight for the Islanders after a two game hiatus. Jaroslav Halak performed well enough to get the Islanders a couple of victories and the team really needs both him and Greiss to rebound. They'll square off against Anderson once again.

Puck drop will once again be at 7:05. The New Jersey Devils don't play until 9:00, so the Islanders get control of MSG+ for the evening.
