The Islanders lose the extra point before two tough road games this weekend.

The Islanders lost in overtime last night — it felt like we deserved more than 38 seconds of entertainment the way that one began — but stayed in fourth in the Metro and just two points out of first.

A couple days off now before two tough ones: Friday and Saturday in Dallas and St. Louis.
