Islanders win Jimmy Vesey sweepstakes, per MSG Network

Took an extra couple of months, but Vesey made the right choice.

We did it!

Per a tweet this morning by MSG Network, the Islanders have signed Harvard forward Jimmy Vesey, who actually signed with the Rangers back in August.

Screenshots are forever.

The Islanders play the Rangers in a preseason game tonight at Madison Square Garden. Vesey won't be in the lineup, making this a little bit funnier.
