2016 NHL Draft: Islanders take USHL forward Collin Adams at No. 170

No trade this time. The Islanders used their sixth round pick to take left wing Collin Adams of the Muskegon Lumberjacks of the United States Hockey League.

Adams isn't a big dude (5'-9") but he's committed to playing at North Dakota next season (under their new brand). SBN College Hockey calls the Michigan native, "a hard-worker with a very heavy shot that has made him an effective goal-scorer at the U16 level."
