You're not experiencing deja vu. All three Islanders prospects we included in the last version of this series survived and will play in their respective league championship games. Good times, guys. The winners will move on to the Mastercard Memorial Cup, junior hockey's preeminent tournament.

Junior Prospects

Joshua Ho-Sang, Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL)

Ho-Sang had two goals and four assists in Niagara's sweep of Barrie in the OHL's Eastern Conference finals. He has an impressive 21 points (five goals, 16 assists) in 13 playoff games, only one of which was a loss for the Ice Dogs. They'll play the London Knights, who swept their way past Erie into the finals, and feature hot shot Maple Leafs prospect and OHL Most Outstanding Player Mitch Marner. Oh, and their owner, president and coach is one Dale f'n Hunter.

Mathew Barzal, Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL)

Barzal and the Thunderbirds also earned a berth in the finals via sweep, beating Kelowna in four straight. Barzal had three goals and four assists against the Rockets and has five goals and 14 assists in 13 playoff games. Seattle's opponents in the WHL Championship series are the Brandon Wheat Kings, who bring a high-powered offense featuring Devils draft pick (and Coach Q's cousin and Johnny Boychuk's nephew) John Quenneville.

Anthony Beauvillier, Shawinigan Cataractes (QMJHL)

Beauvillier leads the QMJHL in playoff scoring with 26 points in 16 games on 12 goals and 14 assists. He helped the Cataractes clinch the semifinals over Saint John with two goals and three assists in Game 5, and torched the Sea Dogs for six goals and six assists in the series. For the President Cup, Shawinigan will play the Rouyn-Noranda Huskies and Sharks draft pick Timo Meier, who has 18 points in 14 games.
