This just in: Game 1 of the second round series between the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Islanders will be played on Wednesday, April 27 at 7 pm.
So sayeth the Islanders:

No word yet on the schedule for the remainder of the series.
Wednesday is going to be an... interesting evening of NHL hockey. While the Islanders and Lightning kick off the second round, the Predators and Ducks will play Game 7 of their first round series that night at 10 pm East Coast time. Nashville beat Anaheim 3-1 to force the first Game 7 in Predators history.
As usual, Eric Hornick is on top of things:
First time since April 24, 1983 that 2 #NHL rounds will be played on same day: Buffalo/Boston game 7

& Chicago-Edmonton game 1 #stanleycup
Amalie Arena has events booked on Friday, April 29th and Sunday, May 1 so that probably means Game 2 will be Saturday night. Unless the league screws both teams by scheduling it for Thursday, giving the Islanders back-to-backs to start a series for the second time. But that scenario is probably unlikely. Right? Who the hell knows.
Anyway, time to prep for Wednesday.
