The season continues for three Islanders prospects, one of whom helped eliminate another (but it's all good).
(* - if necessary, but you already knew that)
Junior Prospects
Joshua Ho-Sang, Niagara Ice Dogs (OHL)
In the second playoff meeting between 2014 Islanders first round picks, Ho-Sang's Ice Dogs swept Michael Dal Colle's Kingston Frontenacs out of the second round of the OHL playoffs. Ho-Sang had a goal and three assists in the series and has three goals and 12 assists in nine playoff games. So while Dal Colle graduates to the AHL playoffs with the Sound Tigers, Ho-Sang goes to the OHL's Eastern Conference finals to face the Barrie Colts, who swept the North Bay Battalion. Yahoo picks Niagara to win in six.

Mathew Barzal, Seattle Thunderbirds (WHL)
Seattle beat the Everett Silvertips in five games to advance to the WHL's Western Conference Championship. Barzal had two goals in Game 2 and three assists in Game 3 for five points in the series (He had seven assists and no goals in the first round. Been kind of a weird but productive post-season for him). The T-Birds will face the Kelowna Rockets, who beat the Victoria Royals in a dramatic Game 7 in which they tied the game with one second left and won in OT.

KHL
Ilya Sorokin, CSKA Moscow
Sorokin and CSKA lost to Metallurg in Game 7 of the Gagarin Cup finals. After having an extraordinary regular season (17-7-4, .953 save percentage), Sorokin went 15-4 in the playoffs and was equally as stingy.
Sorokin only allowed more than 2 goals once in 20 playoff games. Finishes postseason with .945 SV%. #Isles https://t.co/pyPxy9mVbZ
