New York Islanders vs. Edmonton Oilers [Game #51 Thread]

At least both teams can't lose 5-1 today.

Please bring the happy.

The Islanders complete their weekend of matinees with visitors who are completing theirs: The Isles lost poorly in Detroit yesterday while the Oilers were losing poorly in Montreal, where the Canadiens have played like dogfood since December.

So today two semi-reeling clubs (relative to their own lots in life) and their hyped #1 picks (okay, the Isles only have one of those) meet in Brooklyn while the rest of the continent focuses on a foodfest and commercial extravaganza interrupted by quasi-celebrity performances and a few minutes of actual football here and there.

As expected, Thomas Greiss is in goal, Brian Strait is in for Marek Zidlicky.

On the other side, the Oilers will dress old friend Anders Nilsson.
