The Islanders beat the Coyotes 3-2 at home Friday night to get back on track after a loss on Tuesday to San Jose. Meanwhile in Allentown, Pa., the team’s AHL affiliate beat the Lehigh Valley Phantoms 5-2 and the deciding goal was a combination of two names Islanders fans hope to hear on the big club soon.
Just before the end of the second period, Joshua Ho-Sang set up Michael Dal Colle for the latter’s first professional goal. The two played on a line together with center Tanner Fritz, who got the secondary assist. Ho-Sang slid the puck just behind the outstretched legs of defenseman Samuel Morin and Dal Colle knocked it past goalie Anthony Stolarz to put Bridgeport up 3-1.

Not bad, guys. Let’s see that stuff in Brooklyn real soon.
Josh Winquist, Connor Jones, Colin Markison and Carter Verhaeghe also scored for Bridgeport. Old pal Colin McDonald had one of the goals for the Phantoms.
The 2-1-0 Sound Tigers play in Hershey on Saturday night.
Bonus Prospect News! Kieffer Bellows scored a goal in BU’s 7-0 bludgeoning of Sacred Heart University tonight as well.
