Islanders Anxiety - Episode 22 - We Need an Intern

Guest starring Arthur Staple of Newsday and featuring Mike as the Islanders’ Mr. Zsasz.

Islanders Anxiety Art

Mike and Dan are joined by Newday's Arthur Staple to talk about the Islanders surprising waiving of P.A. Parenteau and what, if anything, it means for the team's impressive rookies. They also talk about how the new guys have jelled, what happens to the team's goalies and ask Staple exactly why ESPN hockey writer Scott Burnside hates the Islanders.

Thanks again to Art for taking the time to come on with us after a busy couple of days. We had some audio issues - and lost an entire conversation about the Hurricanes’ curious collection of guys with three-letter last names - but everything should be clear.

If you don’t know who Victor Zsasz is, he’s this guy.

iTunes reviews have been placed on waivers this week. We’ll do more soon.

Theme Song: "Sports" by Josh Spacek, available at the FreeMusicArchive.org.

You can find Islanders Anxiety on iTunes, Stitcher Radio, SoundCloud and pretty much any podcasting app out there. Please subscribe, download, rate, review or spread the word as best you can. All of it helps to raise the show's profile and maybe could get us a fancy sponsor to sell out to in the near future. And if you leave us an iTunes review, we might just read it on our next show.
