The New York Islanders hosted the last-place Columbus Blue Jackets last night, and for some reason* that is the marquee matchup that brought out more coverage from the non-Newsday dailies, even if two of them came up with identical "propel" headlines.

Whatever, Brock Nelson scored the first Barclays hat trick and the Isles got a much-needed win ahead of -- oh, that's the *reason -- Thursday's meeting with the Smurfs.
