The New York Islanders lost both road preseason games last night, with one squad falling in Newark to the Devils, 4-2, while the other squad lost in Philadelphia to the Flyers, 5-2.

They'll send a little more starry squad to Halifax for a preseason game tonight against the Carolina Hurricanes, before expected roster cuts -- and splitting into the traditional NHL and AHL groups -- heading into next week.
