The New York Islanders have two preseason games tonight, both on the road, with staggered starts for your Friday, um, entertainment.
The first faceoff -- televised on MSG+ -- is in Philadelphia at 6 p.m., while the second game is in Newark beginning at 7 p.m. No TV for the Devils game, but it will be on WFAN.com.
Isles vs. Flyers, 6 p.m., Philadelphia, MSG+, TCN (Philly)
Here are the expected forwards and defense pairings versus the Flyers, via Arthur Staple:
Chris Gibson and Kevin Poulin will be in goal.
Broad Street Hockey has the papal explanation for the earlier start, as well as your expected Flyers lines, with one-time Isle Michal Neuvirth again getting the start.
Islanders vs. Devils, 7 p.m., Newark, WFAN.com
The Islanders posted the rosters to be used vs. the Devils:
Forwards: Mathew Barzal, Taylor Beck, Steve Bernier, Eric Boulton, Sebastian Collberg, Justin Florek, Mikhail Grabovski, Ben Holmstrom, Nikolay Kulemin, Louis Leblanc, Alan Quine, Ryan Strome.
Defense: Boychuk, Czuczman, Leddy, Nilsson, Pelech, Zidlicky.
Jaroslav Halak and Stephon Williams will be in goal.
Per Tom Gulliti, boyhood Isles fan Keith Kinkaid will play the full game in net for the Devils. Earlier, the Devils placed former Islanders goalie Yann Danis on waivers for assignment to AHL Albany.

This is your double pre-game and in-game discussion thread. Remember, a house divided, or a squad split, is...a recipe for preseason.
