The Islanders annual Blue & White prospect scrimmage will be held on Wednesday, July 8th at Barclays Center, giving fans a chance to declare teenagers superstars or busts based on one game of low-contact hockey at the team's new home for the first time.
Tickets go on sale this Friday, June 5th, at both barclayscenter.com and ticketmaster.com. Fans living deep inside an inter-dimensional worm hole or trapped in a ephemeral time warp only connecting back to the early 1990's can buy tickets via ancient technology known as a "telephone" by calling 800-745-3000. Telegraph users are out of luck this time.
Game time is 7 pm and doors open at 6. Tickets are a mere $10 and half of the proceeds go to the Brooklyn Events Center Foundation.
Among the prospects expected to attend are first rounders Joshua Ho-Sang, Griffin Reinhart, Ryan Pulock and Michael Dal Colle, a member of the 2015 Memorial Cup champion Oshawa Generals.
The scrimmage will be followed by a skills competition in which they'll have a chance to dazzle the crowd with mad skills, like these. So don't leave early to beat the traffic.
