The New York Islanders released their official roster for the upcoming prospect mini-camp, the highlight of which is a public scrimmage at Barclays Center in Brooklyn on July 8.
Notable among the attendees are five first-round picks, including Ryan Pulock (2013), who starred last season in AHL Bridgeport, 2014 first-round forwards Michael Dal Colle and Joshua Ho-Sang, and Mathew Barzal and Anthony Beauvillier, who were each selected in the 2015 first round.
Also in camp from last weekend's draft are the defensemen: third-rounder Mitchell Vande Sompel, fourth-rounder Patrick Wotherspoon, fifth-round pick Ryan Pilon (Rich's cousin), sixth-round pick Andong Song, the first China-born player ever selected in the NHL Draft, and Petter Hansson, a 19-year-old selected in the seventh round.
Five of the camp's attendees were members of the Bridgeport Sound Tigers last season (Pulock, Alan Quine, Jesse Graham, Sebastian Collberg, Adam Pelech).
Six goaltenders are in camp -- four of them Islanders draftees -- with five listed for the scrimmage.
