Washington Capitals forward Tom Wilson is a controversial figure with a specific role, much like that of the Islanders fourth line: Go out and hit people, get them off their game. Wilson arguably crosses the line more often, but he's younger (and this is an Isles-centric site, after all). He missed Game 1 and immediately set out to make up for lost time over the next three games.
His early game chirping -- specifically threatening Lubomir Visnovsky, for example -- and second period hit to knock Visnovsky from the game didn't sit well with Islanders fans. Nor players.
