Obviously there is no such thing as an Islanders bar in Manhattan, or anywhere on planet Earth as far as I know. I am not watching the game at home with my wife and kid. Just not smart for my image with my child or for her vocabulary. So I'm going to a bar in Manhattan. I don't care which one. I'm hoping that Islanders fans in Manhattan can get their acts together and pick a place and meet up there and bring the house down, drowning out any pathetic rangers fan that might have had the misfortune of entering. Because I want to watch the game with Isles fans, even if I know none of you.
As I said, I don't care which bar. I really don't. But unless anyone has any bright ideas, it seems to me that we would ideally want to find a not-so-crowded, non-hockey bar that is confirmed to play and have audio for the game. Since I live on UES, I'll propose a new bar in town. Five Mile Stone, at 86th and 2nd. Will have audio. Not a "sports bar," but enough TVs. Good food and drink selection.
Anyways, I don't care where. All I'm saying is that we need to get on this. I'm just trying to get the ball rolling. Let's finalize a plan in the comments.
