New York Islanders 2014 Rookie Camp Roster, Schedule

Here they come, here come the youngsters, so hockey is soon to follow.

New York Islanders rookie camp, the camp for newbies and youngsters before the regular fall preseason training camp, begins Friday, Sept. 12, and runs through Wednesday, Sept. 17. At present, they are scheduled to skate every morning except for Sunday.

The Islanders announced the roster for camp, which includes your expected mix of fresh draft picks, likely Bridgeport Sound Tigers, and a few Islanders hopefuls who already have NHL experience. Here are the expected attendees, who all surely "want to make a good impression," "give the coaches something to think about," "bring my game to the next level," "adjust to the speed" and other non-Ho-Sang-like quotes:
