It's the night Islanders fans have been waiting for for over two months now. A night that matters. The 2014 NHL Draft.
At the press time, the Islanders and Garth Snow still held the 5th pick in tonight's first round (Wells Fargo Center, 7 pm) and 7 picks in the first 4 rounds of the draft.
The biggest question will be if Snow decides to hold on to the pick and draft another piece to the Islanders future, or trade the pick (maybe along with others) for a piece to the Islanders present.
According to Arthur Staple of Newsday, Snow is fielding offers for the 5th pick. And while there is interest around the league, there hasn't been an offer yet that has blown Garth's socks off.
