UPDATE: From the 2nd position, the Florida Panthers have won the lottery and now hold the 1st overall pick. The Islanders hang on to the fifth overall pick.

The 2014 NHL Draft Lottery is tonight, televised live at 8 p.m. EDT followed by awkward interviews with top draft-eligible prospects.

The magic formula will determine the order for the first 13 picks of the 2014 NHL Draft.

The TSN TV coverage will also air in the U.S. on NBCSN and will re-air on NHL Network (U.S.) at 8:30 p.m., ET.

The Islanders have a chance of winning the top pick (haha), keeping their current slot at 5th, or being bumped down to 6th if a team between 7th and 13th wins the lottery.

Here are the odds for each team winning the lottery, based on their final 2013-14 season positioning (or in Anaheim's case, Ottawa's position following the Bobby Ryan trade):

1. Buffalo Sabres - 25.0%
2. Florida Panthers - 18.8%
3. Edmonton Oilers - 14.2%
4. Calgary Flames - 10.7%
5. New York Islanders - 8.1%
6. Vancouver Canucks - 6.2%
7. Carolina Hurricanes - 4.7%
8. Toronto Maple Leafs - 3.6%
9. Winnipeg Jets - 2.7%
10. Anaheim Ducks (from Ottawa) - 2.1%
11. New Jersey Devils - 1.5%
12. Nashville Predators - 1.1%
13. Phoenix Coyotes - 0.8%
14. Washington Capitals - 0.5%
